Status Symbols

Insert and edit pre-defined status symbols in your PowerPoint status report. Choose between harvey balls, traffic lights, progress bar, stars, etc.

Use the Status Objects function to insert pre-defined status symbols in your PowerPoint presentation. You can style and change the objects as you want. If the status of a milestone changes, select the status object and change it to the new status with just a few clicks.

Ribbon
	Status symbol Click to open the Status Symbol Manager to insert a pre-defined status symbol such as traffic light or process bar.
	Edit status symbol Select a status symbol and click to open the Status Symbol Manager to change progress settings, fill color or outline color.
Status Symbol Manager
	Status symbol Select a pre-defined status symbol which should be inserted on the currently selected slide. Choose between following symbols: Harvey ball Traffic light Progress bar Check Five stars Arrow Plus / minus Smiley Depending on the chosen option the possibilities to enter a status as well as the color options will adjusted. Note that if you are editing an existing status symbol you cannot change the status symbol type.
	Color options Click to select the color for either the outline or fill of the respective status symbol. Note that if you are editing an existing status symbol the default colors are retrieved by the currently used colors of the status symbol. After click on the color field, the Color Selection Manager window will open to enable the color selection. Default colors can be changed within the Custom Settings Manager.
	Status Depending on the status symbol type the options to display the progress differ. Enter the progress within the status text field. Note that if you are editing an existing status symbol the default status progress is retrieved by the last saved progress.
	OK Click “OK” to insert or edit the selected status symbol. After successfully inserting or editing the status symbol, the pop-up window will disappear.
